The Matt Neylon Award is awarded annually at the Northcote Jets Basketball Club Annual General Meeting.
This coveted award recognises an individual who embodied in the previous year our core values of respect, resilience, integrity, and growth, and who have made significant contributions through their generosity, positivity, industriousness, and good sportsmanship.
The award is named after Matt Neylon, who has been associated with the club for many years. Matt participated as an active member of the Jets committee for many years, before taking on the role of Club President, a position he held for over 8 years. In addition to his untiring administrative contribution to the club, Matt also coached teams for over 12 years.
